After using distributive property and combining like terms the answer is -2

-4 + 6 (4x+3)

Disribute 6 into both numbers in the parenthesis. So that means...

6 x 4x = 24x

6x3 = 18

Your new expression is:

-4 +24x +18

Combine ALL like terms:

-4 + 18 = 14

New Expression:

14 + 24x

And since you don't have any equal sign, that's as much as you can do to simplify the expression.
