just a matter of subbing...and the solution has to satisfy both inequalities

y < = x + 1.....(3,-1)...x = 3 and y = -1
-1 < = 3 + 1
-1 < = 4 (correct)

y > = -2.....(3,-1)....y = -1
-1 > = -2 (true)

so ur answer is the first one
