The area of a poster board is (x2 + 9x − 10) square inches. Find the dimensions of the poster board if x = 13.

If you know what x equals and the formula you would just put what X equals in for X: (13squared+9(13)-10). 13•13=169. 9•13=117. So 169+117-10=276 :)
