g(x) = -3x + 2

To get the x-intercept, we will equate g(x) to 0

g(x) = -3x + 2 = 0

-3x + 2 = 0

Subtracting 2 from both sides of the equation

-3x + 2 - 2 = 0 -2

=> -3x = -2

Dividing both sides by -3

x = -2/ -3

x = 2/3

The x-intercept of the function g(x) = 2/3
