Answer: y=3x+1

3x+y-1=0

3x+y-1+1=0+1

3x+y=1

3x-3x+y=1-3x

y=3x-1

When lines are parallel they have the same slope.

y=3x+b

4=3(1)+b

4=3+b

4-3=3-3+b

1=b

The formula is y=3x+1
